2/19/11 - 2011 Wisz Racing Plans

Wisz Racing plans to run a full schedule at Marshfield Motor Speedway for 2011.

New for 2011 - Driver Jordan Thiel of Appleton, WI joins Wisz Racing. Check Jordan out on FaceBook to say hello and welcome him to Wisz Racing. We are very excited to have Jordan and Thiel Motorsports on board for the 2011 season.

A complete and detailed schedule will be finalized in the next few weeks. We are taking a closer look at special events.

8/29/10 - Schedule Changes

Wisz Racing will NOT be racing on:

Saturday, Sept. 4th at Marshfield Motor Speedway and
October 7th-10th at Oktoberfest in Lacrosse

We are currently looking some other specials that would be more cost effective. We will post on the website and facebook asap.

8/3/10 - Wisz Racing Back in Victory Lane!

For the 1st time this season, the Wisz Racing team found themselves in the winner's circle to end the night @ Marshfield Motor Speedway.

7/13/10 - Racing Updates & Schedule Changes

The team caught a bad break this past Saturday, the car's main oil feed line got a small hole in it, and oil started leaking badly while M.G. was leading the race. He came to pit, but the team could not get it fixed to finish the race.

The Wisz racing team wants to announce that they will not be running August 6th at Golden Sands Speedway, nor will they be running on September 10th-12th at Marshfield Motor Speedway.

7/8/10 - 3rd Place Finish, Then Trouble to Start July

On June 24th, the Wisz Racing team had a very successful night, qualifying in 7th fastest and winning the heat race. M.G. would lead the A-main event for 48 laps, and ended up taking home a 3rd place finish for the team.

On July 1st, M.G. qualified 11th at SPS, and again won the heat race. He was caught up in a wreck early on in the A-main, and had to pull off with overheating issues.

On July 3rd @ MMS, M.G. qualified 17th, and once again won his heat race. He would only complete 38 of the scheduled 80 laps, as trouble with the panhard bar cut the night short.

6/22/10 - SPS & MMS Results

On June 10th, the Wisz racing team went to State Park Speedway for the CWCSC touring series. M.G. was 7th in qualifying, and went on to pick up a 6th place finish in the A-main.

Then on Saturday the 19th, the team went to Marshfield Motor Speedway and timed in 13th fastest in qualifying. M.G. went on to pick up a heat race victory, and followed that with a solid 3rd place finish from the 1th starting spot in the A-main.

6/3/10 - 5th Place @ MMS

The Wisz Racing team was one of the teams testing Goodyear tires this past Saturday night, qualifying 5th fastest of the 14 late model drivers.

The A-main would go green to checkers, as Jeremy Lepak captured the win. Eugene Gregorich, Jr., also on Goodyears, took home the runner up spot. M.G. got through the field of cars to take home a 5th place finish on the night.

5/24/10 - 7th Place Finish @ SPS Opener

At the State Park Speedway opener, M.G. picked up the 10th fastest qualifying time of the super late models. He would pick up the 1st heat win of the season for Wisz Racing, and also captured the 2nd top 10 finish of the season as well, coming home with a 7th place finish in the A-main.

5/23/10 - 2010 Season Kicks off with a Top 10 Finish @ MMS

With mother nature fighting against racing all across the area, the Wisz Racing team finally got a race in at Marshfield Motor Speedway on the 15th. M.G. qualified 15th fastest, and took 2nd in his heat race.

M.G. hung around the middle of the pack for much of the race, making a good charge from his 15th starting spot and coming home with a solid 8th place finish for the season opener.
